June 6 • GREAT STRIDES WALK- Bismark
A benefit for Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. GREAT STRIDES  is the CF Foudation’s largest fund-raising event. Walk day is a fun, family-oriented celebration that includes a healthy 10 kilometer (6.2 miles) walk, kids corner activities, food, and festivities that the participants look forward to year after year. 9  a.m. Sertoma Park. Sponsored by Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota. Presented by Twin Cities Audi Dealers.  Choice of play format  for 18-hole golf tournament. Proceeds benefit the Family Needs Fund and Hospice & Home Care at Children’s Hospitals and Clinics  of Minnesota. June 11 • Tee One for Hope
A benefit for Cancer Care at St. Francis. Sponsored by St. Francis Regional Medical Center Foundation. St. Francis Foundation Charity Golf Tournament “Tee One for Hope” will be held at Stonebrooke Golf Club, Shakopee with a 9  a.m. shotgun start, followed by a barbecue lunch buffet, cash bar, silent auction, and an awards ceremony with tournament prizes and raffle drawing. This tournament is an 18-hole course. Stonebrooke Golf Club. 2693 County Road 79. Shakopee.  

June 12 • Bike MS: Larkin Hoffman MS 150 Ride
A benefit for National MS Society. Sponsored by Larkin Hoffman. EVENT DATE: June 12-14. A two-day, 150-mile ride from Proctor  to the Twin Cities, with an overnight in Hinckley that raises funds  to help support programs and services for the estimated 9,000 people  living with multiple sclerosis in Minnesota and western Wisconsin and  fund research to find a cure. Proctor, Hinckley and the Twin Cities.    

June 27 • Time to Fly Walk/Run
A benefit for Children’s Cancer Research Fund®. Seventh annual family event features 5K walk, 5K and 10K runs, and a 1K Kids’ Fun Run. Festivities include individual and team competitions, live music, a family entertainment area, as well as treats, drinks, hi-tech performance t-shirts and event bags for all participants. 8  a.m. Harriet Island Regional Park. June 27 • PaceMaker 5000
A benefit for Cardiac Needs. Sponsored by  Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota. PaceMaker 5000 is a 5K Walk/Run & Kids Fun Run.   The course begins on the south side of the StoneArch Bridge in downtown Minneapolis.  The proceeds from  this event will benefit cardiac needs within Children’s Hospitals  and Clinics of Minnesota. 9  a.m. 5K Walk/Run, 10:30AM Kids Run.   Stone Arch Bridge. A benefit for Boys & Girls Clubs of the Twin Cities. Sponsored by City of Lakes Rotary Club. Annual fundraiser for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Twin Cities. A benefit for The ALS Association, Minnesota Chapter. The event begins on Friday night with an opening reception and an opportunity to hear from celebrities.
